“If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together.” This saying captures the spirit of ImpactGen, a group of young change-makers dedicated to empowering and educating the youth in Pakistan’s rural communities. Our journey is one of passion and hard work, committed to making a real difference.

Who We Are

ImpactGen believes that education is key to empowerment. We mainly work in remote areas of Pakistan, focusing on women’s education, climate change and Human Rights. Our team, from different chapters across Pakistan and around the world, works tirelessly to create lasting change.

What We Do

Our mission helps local communities through targeted projects:

– ImpactHER: Promotes women’s education and rights in rural areas through awareness sessions, aiming to improve educational opportunities and promote gender equality.

– ImpactRoots: Focuses on environmental sustainability by planting new trees and protecting existing ones to reduce the effects of climate change.

– ImpactGreen: Teaches locals about sustainable farming in remote areas of Pakistan like Tharparkar, the world’s only fertile desert, to improve food security and economic stability.

– Words of Impact: Highlights important social issues through storytelling and awareness campaigns to inspire community action.

Our Achievements

ImpactGen has made significant progress, such as:

– Organizing over 100 free educational sessions in schools, slums, and small towns of rural Sindh, re-enrolling many out-of-school children.
– Raising awareness about food insecurity, leading to the installation of renewable solar panels in Tharparkar.
– Running extensive women’s education campaigns, positively changing attitudes towards gender equality and women’s rights.

The Way Forward

Our efforts have received positive feedback from communities and families. By re-educating and engaging both genders, we create a supportive environment that values women’s education, leading to long-term social and economic growth. ImpactGen continues to launch projects targeting specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), always aiming to empower and uplift those in need.
